The reporter learned today from the National Standardization Administration that the new version of the "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for Household Solar Water Heating Systems" will be implemented on August 1 of this year. This will force companies to eliminate outdated production capacity and increase the use of efficient heat-collecting materials, low thermal loss insulation technologies, low-energy intelligent production equipment, and investment in the research and development of intelligent control systems. It is expected that after the standard is effectively implemented, the average energy efficiency level of products in the entire industry will improve by 15%, and the energy efficiency indicators of various types of household solar water heating systems will average an increase of 15%, with the highest increase reaching 50%. According to initial estimates, it is expected to save 2.4 million kWh of electricity annually.
