The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management have once again allocated 60 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds to support Henan in its flood prevention, emergency rescue, and disaster relief efforts.
Recently, affected by the residual circulation of the strong typhoon "Bai Dolphin," Henan experienced widespread and sustained heavy rainfall, triggering disaster and danger. Based on the earlier disbursement of 40 million yuan from the central natural disaster relief fund, on August 18, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management again preallocated 60 million yuan from the central natural disaster relief fund to support Henan in its flood prevention and emergency rescue and relief efforts. The focus will be on emergency measures such as the relocation and resettlement of affected residents, hazard elimination, transitional livelihood assistance, and the restoration of damaged houses, effectively reducing disaster losses and ensuring the basic livelihood of affected residents.
