The market intelligence team at JPMorgan, led by Andrew Taylor, has indicated that in the coming weeks, a large number of stock buyers may seek to increase their overall exposure and re-leverage. The team noted in their research report that potential buyers include companies planning to repurchase shares, individual investors, and quantitative trading firms. They maintain a tactically bullish outlook. They stated, The market continues to rise amid concerns. This week, the market's focus will be on the minutes from Wednesday's Federal Reserve meeting, where it will look for clues regarding Chairman Kevin Walsh's policy direction; next week, the spotlight will be on Nvidia's earnings report and the Jackson Hole Global Central Bank Annual Meeting. They wrote that the latter two events could change the market narrative. Last week, market concerns included inflation, growth data such as retail sales, and U.S. Treasury auctions alongside speeches from Federal Reserve officials. At the end of last month, JPMorgan stated that its internal indicators sent a buy signal, which has historically predicted an upcoming rise in the S&P 500 index. Since then, the benchmark index has gained approximately 5%.
