The National Bureau of Statistics: From January to July, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 287,744 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2% year-on-year.

According to the Zhtng Finance APP, on August 17, the National Bureau of Statistics released a statement indicating that from January to July, the total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 28,774.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. Among these, retail sales of consumer goods excluding automobiles reached 26,514.2 billion yuan, an increase of 2.7%. In July, the total retail sales of consumer goods were 3,902.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 0.6%. Of this, retail sales of consumer goods excluding automobiles were 3,589.2 billion yuan, up by 2.5%. From January to July, the total online retail sales of goods and services nationwide amounted to 11,721.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%. Among these, online retail sales of goods were 73,965 billion yuan, growing by 4.6%; within the online retail sales of goods, food, clothing, and daily necessities increased by 16.9%, 5.8%, and 1.1%, respectively. Online service retail sales reached 43,249 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2%.
