DP World Dubai invests an additional $1.5 billion to strengthen its logistics network.
Dubai-based port operator DP World announced on Thursday plans to invest $3 billion this year in the UAE, as well as in other countries in Asia and Africa. In the first half of 2026, DP World has already invested $1.5 billion in its existing asset portfolio, with most of the capital expenditure aimed at supporting capacity expansion, terminal development, and logistics infrastructure projects. Essa Kazim, the group's chairman, emphasized that the company is constructing two new terminals at Fujairah Port in the UAE to expand its maritime export gateway, providing freight carriers with greater flexibility, more options, and stronger supply chain resilience.
