Seiko Technology: "5000-ton DMSO" has passed technological achievement appraisal.

Seiko Technology announced that on August 9, 2026, the "5000-ton DMSO Dry Spinning Wet Spinning High-Performance PAN-based Precursor Equipment and Process" project, jointly developed with multiple parties, passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements. The project achieved technological breakthroughs in areas such as polymerization reaction kettles, raw liquid distribution, and DMSO recovery, resulting in 2 invention patents and 22 utility model patents granted, with 19 invention patents applied for, and leading the preparation of 1 national standard. The appraisal conclusion indicates that the overall technology of the equipment has reached an internationally advanced level, with some indicators being internationally leading. This appraisal marks a significant breakthrough in the domestic preparation of high-performance PAN-based precursors, which will promote the development of the companys core business and the high-quality development of the industry.
