Due to the impact of Typhoon "Baihaitun," the canal water system in Zhejiang has experienced its first flood of the year.

Affected by this year's No. 13 typhoon "Bai Dolphin," the cumulative rainfall in the eastern plain of Hangjiahu reached 104.8 millimeters. At 8:40 PM on August 9, the water level at the Jiaxing station in the canal system rose to 2.00 meters, reaching the flood numbering standard, marking the first officially numbered flood of the year in the canal system. Meteorological forecasts predict further concentrated rainfall in the next 24 hours, and based on water conservancy project scheduling, it is anticipated that the water level at the Jiaxing station will continue to rise.
