The number of foreign visitors to Shenzhen from APEC economies has reached a record high for this period.

As the countdown to the 33rd APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting begins, the interest of foreigners coming to China continues to rise. Statistics released on July 7 by the Shenzhen Border Inspection Station showed that in the first seven months of this year, the number of foreigners from APEC member economies entering and exiting through Shenzhen Airport reached 850,000, a year-on-year increase of 32%, accounting for nearly 80% of the total foreign personnel, setting a new historical high for the same period.
