Since the implementation of the Departure Tax Refund 2.0 policy on July 1st, the policy benefits have been continuously released, injecting strong new momentum into the inbound consumption market. According to statistics from Guangzhou Customs, from July 1st to August 8th, the customs at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has processed approximately 19,000 departure tax refund applications from overseas travelers, with a total application amount of about 100 million yuan, representing increases of approximately 5 times and 1.5 times year-on-year, respectively.
