The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology continues to conduct research on the artificial intelligence industry and has carried out calculations on the scale of the artificial intelligence industry for 2025. According to the calculations, the scale of China's artificial intelligence industry will exceed 1.2 trillion yuan in 2025, with a year-on-year growth of 40%. By June 2026, the number of artificial intelligence enterprises will exceed 6,600, accounting for 15% of the global total, and a complete industrial system covering the basic infrastructure, model frameworks, and industry applications has been formed. The artificial intelligence industry chain is divided into a basic layer, a model framework layer, and an application layer. In 2025, the scale of the country's artificial intelligence basic layer industry will grow by 59% year on year, accounting for 38%; the scale of the artificial intelligence model framework layer will grow by 189% year on year, accounting for 7%; and the scale of the artificial intelligence application layer will grow by 22% year on year, accounting for 55%.
