The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed to strike the US military base in Jordan.

On the 16th of local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran released a statement saying that in the eighth round of the "Victory 2" operation, the Air Defense Force of the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched two rounds of "Khaybar Destroyer" ballistic missiles, targeting the fighter aircraft apron at the U.S. Azraq Air Base in Jordan as well as a new command and control center for U.S. forces in the Western Asia region. The statement said that this operation was in response to previous U.S. attacks on multiple targets within Iran using the air base in Jordan. The Revolutionary Guard Corps also called on the people of Jordan to oppose the U.S. military operations conducted from their territory.
