Recently, due to the impact of upstream water inflow, the water level of the western section of the Xijiang River in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, has continued to rise and exceeded the warning level. In order to ensure the safety of navigation, the Zhaoqing Maritime Safety Administration implemented temporary navigation restrictions on the water area from Fengfei Jiao to Xinyin Sha and from Gangzaitou to Qingqi Chong starting from 17:00 on July 7. With the water level significantly dropping, the Zhaoqing Maritime Safety Administration officially lifted the restriction at 8:00 on July 11, resuming normal navigation for vessels. On the same morning, the Dinghu Maritime Affairs Bureau simultaneously initiated the work of lifting the restriction to ensure safe and orderly navigation through integrated patrolling and monitoring using electronic devices, drones, and patrol boats.
