The National Oceanic Forecasting Center issued a yellow wave warning at 16:00 on July 12th: Due to the impact of Typhoon Bailu, it is expected that from the afternoon of July 12th to the afternoon of July 13th, there will be large to huge waves of 3.5 to 5.5 meters in the southern Yellow Sea and East China Sea; the southern part of Jiangsu, Shanghai, and the northern part of Zhejiang nearshore waters will experience large to huge waves of 3 to 4 meters, with a yellow wave warning level for this nearshore area, while the eastern and southern parts of Shandong, northern Jiangsu, and southern Zhejiang nearshore waters will experience medium to large waves of 2 to 3.4 meters, with a blue wave warning level for this nearshore area. Please pay attention to safety for ships operating in the above-mentioned sea areas, and relevant coastal units should take precautions against waves in advance.
48-hour forecast: From the afternoon of July 13th to the afternoon of July 14th, there will be large to huge waves of 2.5 to 4 meters in the Yellow Sea and East China Sea; the eastern part of Liaoning, eastern and southern parts of Shandong, and nearshore waters of Jiangsu will experience medium to large waves of 2 to 3.4 meters, with a blue wave warning level for the nearshore area.
72-hour forecast: From the afternoon of July 14th to the early morning of July 15th, there will be large to huge waves of 2.5 to 4.3 meters in the Yellow Sea; the eastern part of Liaoning and nearshore waters of eastern Shandong will experience medium to large waves of 2 to 3 meters, with a blue wave warning level for the nearshore area.
