Ping An Property Insurance told reporters that as of 9 am on July 12, the company has received over 4,700 reports related to Typhoon "Bavi," with an estimated claims amount exceeding 50 million RMB. Among them, there are over 3,900 car insurance reports with an estimated claims amount exceeding 48 million RMB. China Pacific Insurance stated that as of 4 pm on July 11, China Pacific Property Insurance has received a total of 335 reports of Typhoon "Bavi" and heavy rainfall in northeastern China, and has completed 7 payouts. Claims for car insurance, non-car insurance, and agricultural insurance have all been settled. China Pacific Property Insurance's Zhongshan branch completed the company's first car insurance claim, and the Ningbo branch completed a 5,000 RMB car insurance payout in 2 hours and a 2,200 RMB non-car insurance claim in 1 hour.
