Domestic air fuel surcharge will be substantially reduced starting from July 5th.

Jiuyuan Airlines announced today that starting from July 5, 2026, they will reduce the domestic flight fuel surcharge. Passengers on routes over 800 kilometers will be charged 100 yuan, while passengers on routes under 800 kilometers will be charged 50 yuan. Compared to the previous adjustment, the fees have been reduced by 50 yuan/30 yuan respectively. In April and May of this year, the domestic fuel surcharge was significantly increased, starting from June 5, it was reduced by 20 yuan/10 yuan. With the decrease in fuel prices, the reduction in fuel surcharge in July is even greater.
