On June 25th local time, South African President Ramaphosa stated in the legislative capital of South Africa, Cape Town, that he will work hand in hand with other African countries to jointly address the issue of illegal immigration. Ramaphosa said that day during a session of the South African National Provincial Affairs Committee that the issue of illegal immigration is a problem that sweeps across the African continent and even the world, and South Africa cannot solve it alone. South Africa is in communication with other African countries and is seeking sustainable solutions through the African Union and the Southern African Development Community. African countries need to work together to address the root causes of the issue, including conflicts, political instability, economic difficulties, unemployment, and environmental pressures.
