On June 18th, CITIC Securities announced that Qi Xing officially joined the CITIC Securities Research Institute as the Chief Analyst for ESG and Green Finance. His resume shows that Qi Xing holds a Master's degree in Environmental and Sustainable Development from University College London and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and French from the University of Melbourne. He has 7 years of research experience in the fields of green finance, ESG, and climate change. He has previously worked as the Chief Analyst for ESG and Green Finance at Zheshang Securities, a Quantitative and ESG Analyst at CICC, an ESG specialist in the Greater China region at MSCI, and a green finance researcher at the Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance. He has also been awarded the Best ESG Research Analyst at the 2025 5th Century Analyst Awards.
