Journalists learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation recently issued a national standard development plan, launching the work on the national standard "General Requirements for Emergency Rescue and Aeromedical Services" which is a transformation and upgrade of the local standard "Aeromedical Services Regulation" in Beijing. For a long time, China's aeromedical rescue industry has lacked unified technical standards, with uneven operation entities, inconsistent service process requirements, unclear boundaries of rights and responsibilities, and unclear equipment configuration requirements, seriously restricting the overall efficiency of the aeromedical system. The proposed revision of the national standard will comprehensively incorporate the core content and practical experience of the Beijing local standard, focusing on four key work areas: resource adequacy, process standardization, effective management, and continuous improvement. It will make systematic regulations on institutional qualifications, personnel configuration, equipment facilities, service processes, and safety management, applicable to aeromedical rescue work conducted by various types of manned aircraft. The unified development of the national standard "General Requirements for Emergency Rescue and Aeromedical Services" will effectively promote the construction of a national aeromedical rescue system, establishing a "sky lifeline" with comprehensive coverage and rapid response, and consolidating the foundation of China's emergency rescue system construction.
