Huatai Securities: Expect Bank of Japan to raise interest rates once more this year.

Huatai Securities research report states that on June 16, the Bank of Japan raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 1%, in line with market expectations. Looking ahead, it is expected that the Bank of Japan will raise interest rates once more this year. With the continuous depreciation of the Japanese yen, Japanese authorities may intervene in the yen again. The combination of slow interest rate increases and exchange rate intervention may distort the prices of Japanese yen assets.
