Ocean Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that the first batch of independently developed marine engineering flexible manufacturing intelligent welding robot equipment system in China has been put into use in Tianjin, providing equipment support for the cultivation of new productive forces in the field of ocean energy. This equipment system is designed for the research and development of high-difficulty, customized heavy-duty welding scenes such as block nodes of marine oil and gas platforms, deepwater pipeline racks, strengthening rings, and pressure rings, with a design life of 20 years and a maximum load capacity of up to 30 tons. The core software and process library are 100% domestically produced. The system has high environmental adaptability and operational flexibility, and can effectively address problems such as poor accessibility and difficulty in accuracy control in the welding of large structural components in marine engineering.
