TrendForce's latest research indicates that as the scale of AI data centers expands and the arms race for computing power increases, transmission speeds have reached over 1.6Tbps. To ensure a stable supply, companies such as NVIDIA, Google, and Meta have strategically locked in the production capacity of EML and CW-DFBLD chip suppliers. This has driven suppliers to actively expand production to meet customer demand, leading to a doubling of total production capacity for EML and CW-DFBLD by 2026, reaching a total of 50.7 million units. The top three companies in terms of market share are Broadcom, Lumentum, and Sumitomo Electric, with a combined market share of 55%.
