Cui Dongshu: The domestic sales of commercial vehicles in January-April reached 990,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 1%.

According to the Wise Finance APP, on May 22nd, Cui Dongshu stated that according to data from the National Financial Bureau, the compulsory insurance data for commercial vehicles in the country is expected to see a strong growth in 2025. Due to the strong growth of new energy vehicles and the policy promoting vehicle renewal and replacement, the overall situation of new energy commercial vehicles is expected to see a rapid increase in 2026. In the first three months of this year, the sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 7% to 670,000 units. In April, domestic sales of commercial vehicles reached 320,000 units, an increase of 14% year-on-year but a decrease of 7% month-on-month. From January to April 2026, domestic sales of commercial vehicles reached 990,000 units, a decrease of 1% year-on-year.
