TCL Li Dongsheng visits Sony Group: the joint venture has formed a preliminary plan for the medium to long-term strategic direction.

On April 30, TCL's founder and chairman Li Dongsheng led a team to visit Sony Corporation, and met with Sony Corporation's president and representative director and deputy executive officer Shigeki Ishizuka to discuss the future development direction of the joint venture company. Li Dongsheng introduced the overall operation of TCL and the progress of the joint venture project. Looking to the future, the joint venture company has formed a preliminary plan for its medium to long-term strategic direction. Shigeki Ishizuka expressed full confidence in the future development of the joint venture company and has received positive feedback from the global sales system and end customers. It is understood that on March 31, 2026, TCL Electronics and Sony formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture company to take over Sony's global home entertainment business.
