Didi Autonomous Driving Zhang Bo: Focus on safety and experience, promoting the globalization of autonomous driving

On April 11th, Didi's CEO of autonomous driving company, Zhang Bo, attended the 2026 Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development Forum, where the new generation of Robotaxi models were simultaneously unveiled. In his speech, Zhang Bo emphasized that safety and user experience are the foundation for the long-term development of autonomous driving. Didi's autonomous driving division is committed to responsible technological innovation and will continue to increase investment to continuously optimize products and services based on accumulated expertise in AI core technology, hardware, and travel scenarios. In the fourth quarter of last year, Didi's autonomous driving division began round-the-clock, fully unmanned passenger testing in demonstration areas in Guangzhou and Beijing. According to Zhang Bo, the new generation of Robotaxi models in collaboration with GAC Aion have been officially delivered in January and have begun road testing.
