Nine departments in Qingdao jointly released to promote the construction of 57 automobile industry projects with over one billion yuan.

According to Qingdao Daily, recently, the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Qingdao Development and Reform Commission, and 9 other departments jointly issued the "Qingdao City Automobile Industry Stable Growth Work Plan", outlining the industrial development goals and key focus areas for 2026. The plan proposes that by 2026, the total vehicle production in Qingdao will remain stable at around 1 million vehicles, with the production of new energy vehicles reaching 450,000 vehicles, further addressing core supporting deficiencies such as the "three electric" systems, vehicle chips, and intelligent cabins. In terms of projects, Qingdao will promote the construction of 57 automobile industry projects with a total investment of over 100 million yuan, accelerating the completion and production of 16 projects with a total investment of 14.2 billion yuan by 2025, including the FAW Forging, Jiefang Commercial Vehicle, and Chery KD projects, generating an additional output value of 12.8 billion yuan in 2026; promote the construction of 28 projects with a total investment of 15.8 billion yuan, with 27 projects expected to be completed by 2026, generating an additional output value of 13.5 billion yuan upon full production.
