Shanghai Electric signed a contract for the construction of the Lanzhou New Area Green Methanol Project and officially started the project.

Recently, the 100,000 tons/year biomass green methanol project in Lanzhou New Area officially started construction. Shanghai Electric Power Plant Group will provide key technologies, core equipment, and EPC general contracting services for it. The project is located in the chemical industry park of Lanzhou New Area, with the core construction of a 100,000 tons/year biomass green methanol production line. It will also simultaneously build supporting facilities such as a biomass raw material pretreatment center, biomass gasification, green methanol synthesis, and distillation workshop. After completion, it will drive the integrated development of agriculture, new energy, and green chemical industries in the region.
