Commencement of Phase I Project of Shanghai Electric's Large Castings and Forgings Industry Upgrade Project

Recently, Shanghai Electric Zhangjiang Forging Co., Ltd. started construction on the first phase of the "Large Forged Parts Industry Upgrade Project" in Minhang, aiming to build a large-scale high-end material research, manufacturing, and application base in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, and to create a large special alloy casting ingot and 100MN intelligent fast forging production line with world-class advanced technology. The project is designed by Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Group. After the completion of the first phase, it will be able to independently manufacture 30-ton titanium alloy and 30-ton high-temperature alloy ingots, with a focus on serving advanced nuclear energy, aerospace, and marine engineering industries, forming an integrated high-end special material manufacturing system and providing key basic components for the development of China's advanced equipment manufacturing industry.
