The Dow surged more than 1,000 points, the Nasdaq rose more than 3.3%, and the semiconductor index rose 5%.

The S&P 500 index rose more than 2.6%, the Dow rose 1042 points, up more than 2.44%, the Nasdaq rose 702 points, an increase of over 3.36%, the biotechnology index rose 4.36%, the semiconductor index rose 5.05%, the banking index rose 3.32%, and the Russell 2000 index rose 1.84%.
