Autonomous vessel startup company Saronic Technologies raised $1.75 billion in its latest round of funding to accelerate the growth of its shipbuilding business. This round of funding was led by Kleiner Perkins, with new investors including Advent International and Bessemer Venture Partners, raising the company's valuation to $9.25 billion. Saronic Technologies plans to use this funding to expand production facilities and meet the demand for autonomous vessels from the Pentagon.
