The People's Government of Xi'an City website has released the "Xi'an City Effective Reduction of the Total Social Logistics Cost Implementation Plan", which proposes promoting the transformation and upgrading of logistics towards digitization and greenization. It aims to improve the hardware of logistics operators and the level of digitalization of logistics activities, advance the construction of new infrastructure such as big data, 5G mobile communication, and BeiDou satellite navigation system, support the construction of logistics digitization infrastructure, and promote projects such as the equipment renewal and transformation of Asia No.1 Logistics Park of JD Logistics in Xi'an, the smart cold chain storage base at the airport, and the intelligent warehouse and distribution platform of Shanxi Automotive Tonghui Logistics. It will strengthen the application of new transport equipment such as intelligent networked vehicles, low-altitude flying vehicles, industrial robots, and intelligent products, support the construction of smart customs supervision zones at airports, and promote the opening of road rights for unmanned delivery vehicles. It will carry out actions for green logistics enterprises to meet standards, promote the implementation of carbon emission accounting in the logistics sector, support the green upgrading and transformation of logistics parks, warehouses, and transportation tools. It will promote the greenization, standardization, reduction, and recyclability of express packaging, and promote the direct delivery of e-commerce parcels in their original packaging.
