The 42nd Antarctic expedition| Qinling Station officially enters the wintering work stage.

At about 5:00 on the 21st, in the Ross Sea of Antarctica, the sound of the farewell whistle of the "Snow Dragon" echoed in the Terra Nova Bay. 69 members of the Qinling Station summer team embarked on their journey home, marking the official entry of China's 42nd Antarctic expedition into the winter work phase at the Qinling Station. Wang Tao, the stationmaster of China's 42nd Antarctic expedition at the Qinling Station, introduced that the construction and debugging of the experimental facilities and supporting equipment at the Qinling Station have been completed, officially entering the operational investigation and monitoring phase. During the winter and summer at the Qinling Station, team members encountered harsh weather conditions such as extreme cold, strong winds, and blizzards. However, everyone overcame the difficulties, stayed at their posts, steadily promoted various construction tasks, and further improved the operational support and scientific research capabilities of the Qinling Station.
