The price of flights from Sanya to Guangzhou is approaching 10,000 yuan, and the direct flight on the 22nd is already sold out.
As the Spring Festival holiday comes to an end, Hainan's outbound transportation is facing a peak in returning passengers. Currently, both airline tickets and ferry tickets have become tight, with some popular flight routes facing ticket shortages, leading to a rise in prices. A check on a ticket booking app revealed that as of noon on February 21, the situation for flights departing from Sanya was particularly tight. On February 21, all direct flights from Sanya to Guangzhou were sold out, with available tickets requiring transfers in cities like Beijing and Chongqing; on February 22, the direct flights from Sanya to Guangzhou were also sold out, with only flights requiring transfers in cities like Wuhan, Guiyang, and Chengdu still available, with the lowest reference ticket price approaching ten thousand yuan. On the same day, direct flights from Sanya to Shenzhen were also sold out.
In Haikou, outbound flight tickets are also in high demand. On February 21 and 22, the direct flights from Haikou to Guangzhou had mostly only business class tickets left for sale, with one-way ticket prices exceeding 6000 yuan and a shortage of tickets. For those departing from Bo'ao on February 21 to go to Guangzhou, transfers in cities like Wuhan and Beijing are required, with ticket prices exceeding ten thousand yuan.
It is worth noting that as the returning peak gradually subsides, ticket prices will also return to normal. Starting from February 26, the tight situation for flights from Sanya to Guangzhou will begin to ease, with prices gradually decreasing, and March will enter the relatively low season.
