Era Angel: The European Court's preliminary ruling on specific software functionality has little impact on users.

On February 13th, Time Angel announced that the Duesseldorf Unified Patent Court in Germany issued a temporary injunction, requiring the company to suspend the use of specific modules in the automatic update scheme feature. This has minimal impact on doctors and patients who use Time Angel's invisible orthodontic products. The temporary injunction only applies to certain European countries, excluding Spain, Switzerland, the UK and Ireland. The company will launch a new upgraded iPlan feature for European users affected. Time Angel stated that the Live Now feature in the orthodontic treatment planning software iOrtho does not infringe on any valid patents held by Eqi Tech. The company has submitted a patent opposition application to the European Patent Office.
