Cambodia enacts the "Anti-Telecommunications Fraud Law"

In order to systematically address the increasingly severe threat of cross-border telecommunications network fraud, the Cambodian government is actively promoting special legislation. On February 11, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Kao Le chaired a cross-departmental meeting to officially review and approve the draft "Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Law". Representatives from various relevant departments and agencies, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, National Bank of Cambodia, Ministerial Meeting Legal Expert Committee, National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons, and Committee for Combating Cybercrime, attended the meeting. The meeting ultimately approved the draft "Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Law" in principle.
