The latest statistics from the Haikou Customs show that as of yesterday, the new policy of duty-free shopping on outlying islands in Hainan has been implemented for over a hundred days, with the total amount of duty-free shopping in Hainan reaching 121.1 billion yuan, an increase of 13.9% year-on-year. In many duty-free shops in Hainan, during the Chinese New Year period, there are not only promotions such as full amount gifts, double points, but also an increase in the supply of festive gifts, imported chocolates, high-end wines, and limited edition cosmetics for the Chinese New Year, attracting a large number of residents and tourists to come for shopping.
