Wuhan initiates construction of a super large-scale AI city to create 225 intelligent bodies to empower the industry.

At the First Smart Economy First-tier City Construction Conference in Wuhan, it was revealed that in the next 3 years, Wuhan will focus on six major areas including industry, services, education, culture and tourism, healthcare, and urban renewal to create 225 intelligent products, promote the deep integration of AI into urban operations, and help build a super-large-scale AI city. To accelerate the deep integration of AI and other smart technologies into various fields and industries, Wuhan also proposed to strive to have a total computing power of over 15,000P by 2028, equivalent to the parallel computing power of 7.5 million high-performance computers. At the same time, it aims to cultivate over 1,000 data companies, push the number of AI-related enterprises in the city to over 1,500, and exceed an industry scale of over 200 billion yuan.
