On January 19th, the WeChat public account "Henan Release" published the appointment and removal list of the 22nd meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress. Among them, Sun Shougang was removed from the position of Deputy Governor of the Henan Provincial Government. Sun Shougang previously served as a member of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Executive Deputy Governor.
