The Rare Earth Steel Promotion Working Group was established in Beijing.

According to the China Iron and Steel Association, on January 6th, the establishment meeting of the Rare Earth Steel Application Promotion Working Group was held in Beijing. The working group was officially established with the aim of gathering all parties in the industry chain to jointly promote the research and development and large-scale application of rare earth steel technology. The working group is divided into two sub-groups: the Rare Earth Steel Working Group for Engineering Equipment and the Rare Earth Steel Working Group for Building Structures, with Inner Mongolia Baosteel Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai University serving as the leading units respectively. The working group brings together various forces from government departments, steel companies, rare earth companies, universities, and research institutes.
