The national information and communication regulation work meeting was held in Beijing on the evening of December 25th, summarizing the work during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, analyzing the future five-year situation and challenges, and researching and deploying key tasks for the information and communication industry during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The meeting emphasized the need to give full play to the market's role as a carrier, improve basic systems such as market access and fair competition, enhance the normalization level of platform economy supervision, and comprehensively rectify industry irrational competition. It also stressed the importance of giving full play to the role of services, continuously carrying out the "Ten Heartwarming Services of Information and Communication", strengthening personal information protection, comprehensively promoting the empowerment of artificial intelligence in anti-fraud governance, and improving emergency communication reserve mechanisms such as cutting off roads, networks, and electricity in extreme scenarios. Additionally, it emphasized the importance of fully utilizing the role of security protection, strengthening the security protection of industry key information infrastructure, constructing a network and data security guarantee system that is in line with the characteristics of the development laws of the new industrialization, and escorting high-quality development with high-level security.
