LG New Energy: Ford cancels 96 trillion won battery supply contract.

LG New Energy stated that Ford Motor Company has canceled a 960 billion won contract for electric vehicle batteries, which was scheduled to be in effect until 2024. The reason for the termination of the contract is due to recent policy changes at Ford and shifts in the expected demand for electric vehicles, leading the company to decide to cease production of certain electric vehicle models.
