XiBei upgraded food safety measures in its stores, fully implementing the "Sunshine Kitchen" policy by live broadcasting the kitchen on store TV screens. According to XiBei store staff, after the food safety incident, XiBei founder Jia Guolong announced the "Food Safety Top Strategy" internally, requiring all stores to implement the Sunshine Kitchen. Each store has 6 cameras corresponding to 6 kitchen stalls, directly filming the kitchen production process for public supervision. Building on the "Sunshine Kitchen", XiBei also requires each store to have a food safety officer who must pass the highest internal food safety assessment, and other staff members must collectively learn about food safety and pass corresponding assessments. Additionally, XiBei headquarters issued new food safety standards for stores, requiring utensils to be placed on tables only after customers have been seated.
