Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issue letter on soliciting opinions on "Government Procurement Demand Standards for New Energy Vehicles"

Among them, it is proposed that the purchaser shall not set unreasonable conditions for suppliers in terms of qualifications, technology, commercial conditions, etc., and shall not treat suppliers differently or discriminate against them. The purchaser shall strengthen performance acceptance management, conduct acceptance of new energy vehicles provided by suppliers according to the terms of the procurement contract, the vehicle brand, model, and version must be consistent with those published by the manufacturer, and the various parameters and configurations of the vehicle must meet the manufacturer's published standard configurations. The Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance will timely update the standards related to the configuration, performance, safety, and quality indicators of new energy vehicles based on the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
