Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. plans to obtain approximately 61.9998% of the voting rights of Jingkong Energy and officially enter the energy storage market.
The "Notice of Simple Cases of Concentration of Operators" released by the Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision Administration on November 13th shows that Longi Green Energy intends to acquire approximately 61.9998% of the voting rights of Suzhou Jingkong Energy Technology Co., Ltd. through the acquisition of equity, capital increase, and entrustment of voting rights. After the transaction is completed, Longi Green Energy will independently control Jingkong Energy. Jingkong Energy is mainly engaged in the lithium-ion battery energy storage system business. Longi Green Energy has not yet disclosed details such as the total transaction amount. Previously, among the top four companies in the PV module shipment ranking, Longi Green Energy was the only company that had not yet entered the energy storage business.
