Chen Huabin, former party member and deputy mayor of Zigong City Government in Sichuan Province, has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Chen Huabin has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, violated the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulations, accepted gifts and bribes that may affect the fair execution of official duties, made improper decisions to issue and receive bonuses, failed to maintain integrity, allowed and condoned family members and specific individuals to exploit his power or authority for personal gain, used his power or authority to benefit his relatives, accepted others to pay personal expenses for his family using public funds, lacked personal integrity, did not value family ethics, and failed to properly manage and educate his spouse. He used his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting, illegally accepting a large amount of money and property.
