On Tuesday, the National 100 Index of the Istanbul Stock Exchange in Turkey closed down 1.97% at 10,576.45 points. A sharp V-shaped trend started at 20:23 Beijing time. The Istanbul Stock Exchange Banking Index closed down 2.40% at 14,299.90 points. The Turkish lira against the US dollar is currently up 0.01%, temporarily traded at 42.2310 lira, having fallen to 42.2409 lira at 07:55, hitting a new historical low. The Turkish prosecutor is seeking a sentence of over 2000 years for Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu.
