On November 7th, a netizen posted that Flight CA1339 from Beijing to Guangzhou returned to Beijing Capital Airport shortly after takeoff and then departed again over two hours later. On the 8th, it was confirmed by China International Airlines that the return was due to airline reasons. According to multiple flight apps, CA1339 was scheduled to depart from Beijing Capital Airport at 12:00 pm on the 7th and arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at 3:25 pm. However, the actual departure time was 12:30 pm and the actual arrival time was 6:45 pm. Flight details showed that the flight descended after reaching an altitude of about 9000 meters, returned to Beijing Capital at 1:20 pm, and departed again at 3:49 pm with a layover of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The flight management app showed that at 1:37 pm, the aircraft for the flight was changed to another Airbus A330-343X.
