Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change: International cooperation needs to be strengthened to address climate change.

Simon Steil, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, stated on the 7th that the clean energy revolution has been thriving since the adoption of the Paris Agreement ten years ago. However, he emphasized that only through strengthening international cooperation and accelerating collective action can we effectively address climate change. Steil made these remarks at the Beln Climate Summit's thematic conference, titled "Ten Years of the Paris Agreement: Nationally Determined Contributions and Financing," acknowledging the important role of the Paris Agreement and stressing the need to ensure the full participation of all countries.
