Overnight interest rates fell by 4%, hitting a four-week low. The three-month interbank rate ended a two-day increase.

On February 23, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates also fell across the board. Among them, the overnight rate dropped by about 19 basis points, breaking through the 4% mark, reaching a low of 3.81679%, hitting a four-week low.
The one-month interbank interest rate related to the property market also fell for two consecutive days to 4.52208%; the three-month interbank interest rate reflecting the cost of bank funds rose for two consecutive days to 4.68387%, maintaining a spread of about 90 basis points from the US dollar LIBOR rate at the same period. As for longer-term interest rates, the six-month and one-year rates dropped to 4.68929% and 4.765% respectively.
