HK Stock Market Move | HUTCHMED (00013) Rises Over 4%; Regulatory Registration Applications for the ORPATHYS and TAGRISSO Combination Therapy Accepted in Europe and Japan

HUTCHMED (00013) rose over 4%, up 3.86% as of press time at HK$21.52, with turnover of HK$148 million. On the news front, on November 2, HUTCHMED announced that regulatory registration applications for the combination therapy of ORPATHYS (savolitinib) and TAGRISSO (osimertinib) have been accepted in Europe and Japan. Following the submission of a New Drug Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in September 2026 for this combination therapy for the same indication, the acceptance of these regulatory registration applications in Europe and Japan marks further progress in advancing this innovative targeted combination therapy to benefit patients worldwide. It is worth noting that the positive results of the global Phase III SAFFRON study supported this New Drug Application. The results were presented at the Presidential Symposium session of the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress and simultaneously published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
