Green Power Group (01870) announced that the Company proposes to conduct a rights issue by issuing 254 million rights shares at a subscription price of HK$0.138 per rights share on the basis of 1 rights share for every 4 existing shares held by qualifying shareholders as at the close of business on the record date (assuming no further issuance or repurchase of shares on or before the record date and that all rights shares will be taken up), to raise gross proceeds of approximately HK$35.1 million (before deducting expenses).
GREEN POWER GP (01870) announces that the Company proposes to conduct a rights issue by issuing 254 million rights shares at a subscription price of HK$0.138 per rights share on the basis of one rights share for every four existing shares held by qualifying shareholders at the close of business on the record date (assuming no further issuance or repurchase of shares on or before the record date and all rights shares will be taken up), to raise gross proceeds of approximately HK$35.1 million (before deducting expenses). The net proceeds from the rights issue are estimated to be not more than approximately HK$31.4 million (assuming no further issuance or repurchase of shares on or before the record date and all rights shares will be taken up). The Company intends to apply the net proceeds from the rights issue as follows: (i) approximately HK$15.7 million, or approximately 50% of the net proceeds from the rights issue, for the development of the green power energy business, including but not limited to the preparation, construction and development-related costs of a fishery-solar complementary photovoltaic project in the Philippines and the preliminary preparation and development expenses of a ground-mounted and rooftop CECEP Solar Energy project in Vietnam; and (ii) approximately HK$15.7 million, or approximately 50% of the net proceeds from the rights issue, as general working capital of the Group, including but not limited to payment of professional fees, employee salaries, office rent, utilities and other expenses. The Board announces that the board lot size for trading of the Shares on the Stock Exchange will be changed from 2,500 Shares to 10,000 Shares with effect from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, 22 October 2026. The Company will arrange for odd lot matching services to facilitate the trading of odd lots.
